SR: Short Ram. These kits contain one intake tube, and the filter sits in the engine bay. If necessary, a custom heat shield is supplied with the kit. CA: Cold Air Intake. These kits contain 1 or 2 intake tubes to extend into an area ouside the engine bay to ingest cold air, like the front bumper. CCA: Complete Cold Air Intake. These kits contain at least 2 intake tubes to extend into an area ouside the engine bay to ingest cold air, like the front bumper. Another key feature of the CCA is that it may be converted into an SR-kit if desired (for instance: when driving under bad weather conditions) by removing the cold air extension tube.
